Train With Us. Work With Us. Grow With Us. Vermont Doula Company is growing, and this spring we are welcoming a new Birth Doula Cohort.We are expanding regionally and onboarding 6 doulas across Vermont, combining in-person training, structured mentorship, and employment.
We are currently hiring:University of Vermont Medical Center Coverage 2 Full-Time Employees1 Part-Time Employee Regional Community Hospital Coverage (NMC, NVRH, & North Country Hospital, CVMC, Gifford, Porter, & Rutland Regional) 3 Part-time Employees
Who? This cohort is designed for both experienced doulas and those ready to enter the field through professional training. What is the process? Selected candidates will be hired first then complete our in-house Birth Doula Training in May. Client work starts up in the summer with on-call beginning in September. As part of employment, training tuition is fully covered for full-time hires and partially subsidized for part-time hires with a one-year commitment. If you are already certified, training is required as a refresher at no cost. Why Employment? Our doulas are employees and receive structured compensation, shared call schedules, administrative support, and ongoing professional development, creating a more sustainable way to practice birth work.
