Vermont/Massachusetts Doula Study

Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is conducting a study to explore doulas’ experiences providing perinatal support—including support for clients’ perinatal mental health—across rural and non-rural communities in Massachusetts and Vermont. The hope is that as we better understand doulas' needs in a variety of settings, the better support and training we can provide. 

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

· Are currently practicing as a doula or have provided doula services to at least one client within the past year

AND

· Live in and provide doula services in Massachusetts or Vermont.

If you choose to be in the study, you will participate in a survey. After you have completed the survey, you will have the option to participate in a 30-minute interview that will be conducted via a secure digital platform. If you participate, you will be entered into a raffle to win one of ten $50 participant payment debit cards. Participants who opt to also participate in the interview will also receive a $25 participant payment debit card.

Being in this study is entirely voluntary.
